Off For Vacation

It’s June 20th and I’m off for vacation to the far away place of Savannah, GA. Despite the expected heat and humidity, I expect to find many historical and interesting sites. One I am excited to get a picture with is a statue of our Methodist founder, John Wesley! Max thinks he should be coming and is having a difficult time staying out of my suitcase as I prepare to pack. But he will be fine and has friends coming to visit most days.

Summer is a even more special to us folks up here in the northland and we should all take advantage of time away, or time out in creation as we are able to do so. It’s good for our spirits, minds, and souls to take even small breaks—we know that, right? We just are not always so good at doing so!

While I’m gone I will be thinking about all of you, and praying that you stay healthy, safe and happy. The phone messages and emails will be checked regularly, and I have my phone with me for texts and emails that may be necessary.

Peace, Pastor Lou
